Hi Shari, thanks so much for posting. I totally understand when you say July can't come fast enough. I can't seem to concentrate on anything else but this surgery at the moment, so excited, there seems like there is finally some light at the end of a very dark long tunnel.. Shari what date is your surgery in July ? Lily :)

Hi ladies Im Doug hoping for July got most of the pre op done dose seem like a long road but maybe that way we think about it before we get it done and we are willing to work at it.Good luck Doug from Michigan

I don't have an exact date. So far they are telling me mid-July. Yes, it seems all I think about now. I'm an older sleever - 67. Was afraid they would tell me I'm too old! I've been obese for about 30 years. Of course, I've tried and lost and gained several times over the years. I really want to spend the rest of my life in the best health possible. Don't feel old yet and don't want to!

Newbee wants to know if anyone is from Michigan? Has anyone used Dr. Pleatman for surgery? If so, please share your experience. Thanks!

I believe my surgery will end up being in August also. In the process with all the tests and drs appointments now. My last appt with nutritionist is on Jul 15th. Just joined this site so haven't had time to add picture, etc. I originally was going to do the lap band but my doctor talked me out of it! I'm so excited - can't wait to get this done so that I can get that "helping hand" to get myself back in shape and able to live my life the way I want to again. My name's Terri and I'm from Columbia, South Carolina.

Who is your doctor and where are you having your surgery?

Hi Janazee if you look under April 2013 sleever in Michigan

Who is your doctor and where are you having your surgery?

Getting sleeved in April. Is anyone from MI

My doctor is Marc Antonetti. Surgery at Lexington Medical Center here in Columbia.

Hi all... I am Terry from NJ. I was sceduled for May 15, but I found.out during my Endo that I have "significant" ulcers. I have to deal with them. So now I am scheduled for July 17 - a little bumbed out but at least I will have time to rest in the summer...and take some nice walks!

My mom is having the same issue. She was supposed to have her sleeve months ago but the ulcer won't heal. They told her she has to have another endoscopy in July and if it hasn't improved she has to have a full gastric bypass to remove the ulcer because of where its located
