Surgery tomorrow

Well the time is almost here, after a 7 month journey my time to be sleeved is just around the corner. In less than 24 hours my life will change forever. I have been on a clear liquid diet that started Saturday, it's been tough but not as tough as I had imagined it would be. Any advice is appreciated.

The first day was the worst for me. All I wanted was a drink. Got nothing. Bringing Chapstick is a great idea.

@angeleyez! Did you get sleeved with me Monday at rmc??? You look familiar' date=' we had to stay in recovery???[/quote']

Yes I did stay in recovery! You look very familiar as well!! How are you?!

I'm making it! Sugar free Popsicles are my best friend. My pain has almost gone away just taking ex strength Tylenol now. My stomache feels empty, a lot of churning and gurgling. But other than that I can tolerate water, ice chips, warm tea, jello, and sugar free Popsicles. How are you? I haven't weighed since I came home, but I lost 9 lbs on preop diet. Hope you're doing well!!????

My husband is buying me sugar free Popsicles today because I'm so tired of broth and jello! I just have some pain in my stomach where the incision is but once I take Tylenol it goes away fast. Thank god I have not vomited or felt sick like others. I did weigh myself yesterday because I was anxious and I'm down 11lbs from Monday :-)

How so you measure out the Popsicle?

That's great

I haven't had much nausea or vomiting either. Just once after the swallow test. Other than that I'm moving right along. Just taking it slow and embracing the healing process. Best of luck to you!!????
