Is there a website?

Is there a website that tells where the food goes and the process on how we digest food after sleeve?

Well I was wondering why the Nut puts us on the same restrictions and vitamins as the bypass ppl. When we don't have malabsorption or their issues.

As my surgeon explained to me... most of americans are deficient in some vitamins and minerals and for obese people it is worse. You are eating so much less than before that this helps maintain your proper levels of nutrients. Whereas you could eat your vegetables and things regularly, now it is only a couple or 3 bites at a time since you are concentrating on protein. I am sure most of the surgeons are like mine and do labwork on a routine basis to make sure you are where you need to be.

I agree with what shrinkingmom said but would also add that some of the requirements for us don't have to be as much for us as for bypass patients but most surgeons and NUT's prefer to use the same regimen for all there patients instead of making different plans for everyone.

Because you are not eating a lot so you need the supplements to replace what nutrients you dont get from food

I just wish there was a website to explain the mechanics of it all.

I'm not really sure what you're looking for. The mechanics of digestion are the same pre and post sleeve.
