It's cheese, so there is fat, but you need some fat for sure. Cheese is a better choice than mashed potatoes, cause there is Protein in it. Fat is not the enemy! Personally since my surgery 19 months

Thank you I was looking for this answer lol being a truck driver my resources and time on the road are limited and figured baby food might be the way to go with added Protein of course :)

Single serving string cheese is a real treat if you are approved to eat it. If you have a small ice chest they make single serving cottage cheese packages that would be a great option, too. Another very tasty option is the single serving Campbell's Soup on the Go. They have around 70 calories for the chicken with Noodles microwavable cup. Again, the downside is that it is high in sodium and doesn't have much protein. It is very filling and delicious, though.

thank you we have a small fridge and microwave in the truck, I make up homemade soup and freeze it when home, I love my little cottage cheese cups and string cheese, I have been playing with unflavored protein in things trying to be prepared as possible. I think ill do fine I just want to do it as right as possible

Shelly's Baked Ricotta

8 oz of Ricotta cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan

1 large Egg' date=' beaten

1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning

salt & pepper to taste

1/2 cup Marinara Sauce

1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Mix ricotta cheese, parmesan, beaten egg, seasonings together and place in a oven proof dish. Pour marinara on top and top with mozzarella cheese. Bake it in the oven @ 450 for about 20-25 minutes (best) or nuke it till hot and bubbly. I usually made it first in the oven and heated the leftovers in the microwave.

this saved me in the early days!!! it is as good as it sounds[/quote']

Et viola!

That even looks yummy.

My go to foods were Taco Bell pinto and cheese and Wendy chili when I was out. These were awesome and 1/2 filled me up. When at home I did what everyone else stated.

It is. Very.

Wendy's chili was a favorite on Weight Watchers for me. Filling and reasonable points value.
