I'm having a rough day. I'm struggling to drink more than an ounce an hour. I managed 2 1/4 oz in 70 minutes but I feel so full that I am miserable. I sip small amounts of Water, Gatorade, chicken broth, tea, I had Jello (all sugar free) and I have been eating small ice chips from Sonic drive in (they have soft small round cubes) but I feel weird. Very lightheaded, weak and now I think I might be catching a cold. I keep coughing and coughing. I've used my rescue inhaler twice today. My pulse is 96 and my BP is 105/72 and my blood sugar is 97 and my temp is 98.7.

Any suggestions?

Take it slow get as much liquid as you can, but slowly. I always felt better when I would walk around fo a few minutes after sipping. Hang in there it will get better I promise. You can also have sugar free popsicles Those were my life savers for getting Fluid in.

Add some Protein. I felt really sick yesterday and then felt like I was getting the shakes, blood sugar was probably too low, I drank a Protein Drink and felt normal again.

I hope you feel better Julie. Dr B told me no whole pills for 3 weeks. I crushed my sleeping pill and dissolved it in juice and sipped it off a spoon, I did the same with my fibro med's and my hormone pills. I haven't taken anything since Sunday so my body is reacting to the med's being taken away. So tomorrow I will reintroduce my savella, prempro, flexeril, ambien & Mobic. I'm hoping everything will be ok tummy wise if I space them a couple hours apart and drink after each. Tonight I drank 3 oz in 2 hours and I'm almost finished with 2 oz apple juice and I have an entire cup of crushed ice and I just keep eating small pieces.

Earlier I felt like crud, but I got up and walked a bit, then I stood and sipped Gatorade and apple juice every 1- 2 minutes and I felt better. I'm still not sleepy but I'm going to go lay down and read for a while.

Try to get as much rest as you can, I was on day four as well, took 3 naps then slept for 10 hours. I think that you are on such a high from coming home, having surgery finally behind you, some meds still in you. Now, that has worn off, you begin to feel everything. I am having a hard time choking down the Protein shakes.

sleep well....

My dr told me no Protein until Monday. I'm shakes & weak and I know it's because I have no 'food' in my body. My BP & blood sugar levels are good. I'm still not getting

3 oz of liquids an hour. I'm trying, I'm just full!!!

I hope I stay full forever. I don't even want to see food right now.

I had egg drop Soup today and again for supper. About 6 oz over the course of a few hours. Also some sf Jello but I ate it too fast and oh my the gas pains. I'm happy to be at MY home tonight with my hubby so we can snuggle. I'm sure I'll sleep better in his arms.

Oh no! Use a gas x strip. I'm watching the clock & every 15 minutes I'm drinking an oz. I just had the best pink Popsicle. It's the kind in a clear tube. It was soooooo easy to eat it. I've got 6 oz of Gatorade down, two oz of Water & a bunch of ice chips since 7 pm. I feel alot better.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
