Oh Snap... Surgery tomorrow! Am I ready?

The big day is here! I'm pretty nervous and hope I can get some sleep tonight! I kind of lost it this weekend and ate sushi and a drumstick ice cream cone! Lol!

I was told I would be outpatient, which means I could leave after a 6hr hospital stay. I'm assuming I don't need to take anything with me, do I?

  • Surgery, any kind of surgery, is sort of like jumping off the high diving board or bungie jumping. Once it's done, it's all downhill from there. You'll be fine.

  • My surgery is tomorrow as well (YAY us!). I'm nervous and have been very tempted to go out and get my favorite fast food to have one last taste of it, but I didn't and the urge is driving me crazy.

I'm having surgery tomorrow as well and I'm sure just as nervous!!!

My surgery is tomorrow as well (YAY us!). I'm nervous and have been very tempted to go out and get my favorite fast food to have one last taste of it, but I didn't and the urge is driving me crazy. I've been trying to keep myself busy so that I wouldn't think too much about this, but knowing me, I'll be up late tonight thinking. That I don't mind since I don't check into the hospital until 9:15 tomorrow. Hopefully, I will be able to sleep in and not have too much time to think about wanting to eat.

Don't do it!! Get engrossed in a few good movies! (that don't involve food haha)

Our last day pre sleeved...EEEEeeeee!! :D

Best wishes to all!! Keep us posted

I know what you mean! My head is spinning over the food, but I'm going to suck it up and eat a healthy last meal and try to sleep through the night! We can do it! Good luck tomorrow!

Shrinkingchef...personally, I would bring an overnight bag just in case plans change last minute? Maybe it's just the worry wart in me.

Wish mine was outpatient!

Good luck to you too! We'll be awesome!

Best wishes to all of you getting sleeved tomorrow! Very excited for you. Check in when you can and keep us posted. :) :) :)

Drink a lot of clear liquid so you get full and don't feel hungry no more.
