I had VSG on December 18, 2012 in Scottsdale, AZ. Doing really well. I'm down just under 40 lbs. No problems at all and good healing. Just looking for others who are taking this path!!

I'm currently pretty restricted on what I eat. Lots of protein: chicken, turkey, fish, beans, cooked veggies, peeled fruits, protein drinks, dairy. I'm excited to get back to salads and uncooked veggies and beef! I drink about 64 oz of water a day. I'm walking a mile about 4 days a week. I lost the first 30 lbs really fast and now...I feel like I'm dragging a little bit! I had no required weight to lose before surgery. I do like the feel of baggy clothes already!

So I did it! Was sleeved last Thursday. Had my gall bladder removed and a hiatel hernia repaired. Had no idea about those. Doing pretty well this morning. Going to take a shower and go outside!
