DEALING WITH ATTENTION

How does everyone deal with the attention you get from the opposite sex? Especially those who are married/in a relationship? Does that question make sense? Please no judgement, just wondering, my mind is racing with all the what ifs

OK, in all honesty, I do like the attention. It's not a lot, but when it happens, I take it in. Most of the time, I really don't even think people are even looking, although I have been told it happ

  • I heard a statistic recently that 80% of those who are married and get a gastric bypass will get divorced. Granted, different surgery, same results. It really made me think. For me, my husband is a

Yes you do! I watch you when you sleep 0_0

Most people flirt. Sometimes it's with genuine intent. Often it's messing about. Take it as a compliment. You don't need to reciprocate.

As for husbands being more attentive or 'all over you' I wouldn't think that it is necessarily jealousy based.

I think it's perfectly normal that if your partner is all of a sudden in better shape, looking after themselves better, dressing better and with new found self confidence that it's going to push all the right buttons. I don't think it means they love you any more or less than before.

Same way I do now, flash my ring finger and say very happily taken, go home and smack my wife on her ass. Even now at my current weight, I deal with "badge bunnies" on an at least weekly basis, and seen some of the guys who are good looking deal with the crap, it's funny, and annoying all at the same time. It's just part of life. When I was single, I ate it up, acted on it a few times, regret acting on it a few times too as I'm apparently attracted to some crazy ladies, but as a married man, take it as a compliment, not think anything in to it, and leave it at that. My wife is who I want to be with for the rest of my life, and I'll be damned if I'm going to do something that would risk me losing the love of my life. She's been my rock through everything.

Mark every time I read your name I feel like I'm screaming it lol

Hey Fyre, I love your new look, I'd give you some but...........................

Mark every time I read your name I feel like I'm screaming it lol

But what?! Lol thank you!

Haha, I know. Everytime I try to just use Mark, it's taken, so I just started using mark! for all of my forums accounts.

I wear a wedding ring, but for me I'd never flash my ring finger. I'd find it awkward.

I don't mind the attention, at any weight. I like flirting. I love my wife and have no interest in ruining a great thing.

Just flirt, you know you all want to.....

No ones screaming my name :(

This.

I get attention now at almost 300 lbs. I've always had a flirty personality. But everyone knows I'm crazy in love with my hubby of 19 years. So I feel I can take any additional attention with a grain of sand. My hubby asked me what I was gonna say when men started flirting with me more. I told him same thing I say now. I'm gonna break out singing "Dontcha wish your girlfriend was hot like me. " Lol
