Hi all! I'm Kim and I'm new to this process. I've had my initial consult with my surgeon and am currently on the 6 month supervised diet. I'm so excited to get this journey going. I've been lurking around reading different posts and I love this site! Just wanted to say Hi and thank you to everyone for all the information. It's so cool to hear about everyone's journey and feel like there are so many that understand how I feel!

Haha that's awesome! My cousins husband grew up in the house before it was a restaurant. He swears it's haunted. And I'm friends with the original owners daughter

I am also a Texas girl. Born in Ft Worth but currently live in GA. I miss TX and get back as often as I can! You can take the girl out of the state, but you can't take the state out of he girl! I also am in the early stages of this journey. All i have left are the Nutritionist visits, then submit to the insurance company for approval. I think my surgery will likely be early May. This site has been a real blessing for support and information along the way! Good luck!
