i am 6 week post op and am just wondering if at any point in time does our surgeons scope our insides to see if everythings healing properly ???Any scans or such?

While I honestly don't know for sure and am sure it will very by the Dr. I would think they wouldn't scope you unless you were having some sort of symptoms but I could be wrong.

Yeah, after the initial barium swallow and x-ray most surgeons won't do anything to look at your insides unless you're presenting symptoms that indicate that something is seriously wrong.

I've never been scoped and hopefully don't have to. My doc only does it if something is wrong.

If you are not having any problems, there is no reason or need to be scoped.
