Getting Sleeved 1-29-13

I'm so glad I found this forum to help me continue with my surgery. You're stories and progress keeps me motivated. I'm at 218 with weight goal of 150 or maybe more.

My surgery is on the 29th too! I started the liquid diet yesterday. Not so fun but trying to keep a good attitude about it.

Surgery 29th too. Haven't had pre op appt yet. Hoping I get to talk to someone tomorrow. I'm just on low cal, low fat diet and walking to get some weight off before surgery. Surgeon said he wanted me to lose 10 lbs.

Yea, only second day on liquids but I sure am hungry! I know its from not getting all of my protein in but it's so hard to choke down. Lol

Can y'all eat any meals? I'm doing one meal with 2 protein shakes. Sugar free Popsicle for sneak. Everyone's Dr is different!

No, no full liquids or solids.

I'm a EL Spartan too! But insurance copay is $15,000 for Sparrow. So I'm doing self pay in Mexico!

Yayy im on the 29 also I have a gyration is it OK 4 me 2 put a little Peanut Butter in my shake just so I have a little sum thing diffrent

No PB 2 on the preop diet, postop only
