My nite mares is a Hot Saug.poor boy x mayo&pickles dress,do wake me..LOL

I am new and I dont have a date yet, I am due back on 2/22 for my final visit with diet and exercise and i am so scared, I have not gained but have not lost, I really need to get strickter, I have been eating healthier and learning to cook better so I am trying new things. I am just very worried, they will say I won't make it.

Please don't think that away, always think positive, surround your self with Positive ppl....I'm so glad I've join tis sight you couldn't imagine how much easier this has been for me..I wish you nothing but the Best

My date is set for 3/12 ... I'm the first to go in in the morning.

Im getting excited have my endoscopy on Monday! No food dreams or sadness yet kinda glad i started this 1240 cal.intake down 9 pounds

25 days for me now! I've been one week with not a drop of diet coke (or any soda). Huge huge deal for me. Im very proud of myself for that, I gotta say. I decided to quit the soda before my pre op diet. Everything at once may be too overwhelming. 5'5" @ 250 28 yrs old. I want to say to everyone worried about the pre op diet and those who wonder why its necessary...idk if your doc told you but the diet is necessary to shrink your liver. The liver in someone who over eats and eats BADLY is very large and fatty, and its in the way for surgery. It bleeds very easily and the surgeon doesn't want any risk of nicking it. You could bleed to death! Please take the pre op diet seriously. If you go for surgery they'll know if your liver has shrank or if its still (obviously) in the way and fatty. They could send you right back home. For those of us going to mexico self pay, tht would REALLY suck. Just something to picture in your head when you're on pre op diet and you feel like cheating.

im hoping for march 6 - have 2nd consultation on monday the 18th - we will be setting a surgical date so i will know very soon - very excited - wish i was past the surgery too - just the "unknown" is what gets me a little crazy, but i know in my heart that this is the right thing for me to be doing.

I could image the anticipation ,I'm only 20 days out and so anxious, but I wish you luck

My surgery is March 4.and I wasn't never told to pre_op and I'm self pay going to Mexico

@leo you don't have a pre op diet to follow? Mine is for 10 days pre op. Low carb, low fat. Basically grilled chicken, green veggies, some citrus fruits, fish, protein shakes...

Well I will call Melissa today and get some info from her,Thanks I needed that info..

#168 beby241977 - please dont say that - you will be fine - your thoughts become your words. Your words become your actions....actions become your habits. only positive thoughts!!!
