My surgeon and nut said you lose the most in the first 6 months, then should continue to lose slowly until about a year out....then you're on your own to keep going.

My Dr. Told me 9-12 months.... But its that we never eat the same!!!

My doctor says the first 12 months are the most crucial. That's what I go by.

I understand, that we have to keep it up, because we can go back, but we dont eat the same....

Chiming in...my nutritionist said six months, biggest weight loss. Slower up to 12 months, slower still to 18 months when they say everyone should have reached their top weight loss.
