hernia

What does it feel like I am pre surgery and have chest pains and cramping. I have had two chest ekg s and doc checked for endometriosis which I don't have. Its been going on for months last night I was wondering if this could be hernia? I have heartburn meds the don't really help. Its not a heart attack.

I too had hernia repaired that I did not even know about until after my surgery. My doctor said that hernias are very common for people that have bariatric surgery. As far as symtoms, I had none or else I did not recognize them. Preop I had to have an endoscope done, have they done that for you?
