lifting

I am a nail tech and have been back to work for two weeks ... I have had help carrying my pedicure tub but do you think I'm safe to start picking it up again tomorrow ? Filled it about 8 lbs

Definitely call your doctor. I know my doctor doesn't want me really lifting much of anything for a full 8 weeks. Also, if I have to bend they want it done from the knees & not the waist. I wouldn't take any chances.

My surgeon said not to lift more than 8 lbs for 3 weeks. 8 lbs is just a gallon of milk. I'm not even carrying laundry at this point. Today I am 1 week post op.

With it being water, maybe not, the swishing back and forth will require more effort than you realize...

Good thing my BF doesn't read this, I plan on milking the ” can't lift things” for as long as I can.

That will take care of laundry, shopping, vacuum ooh I can't wait

Hehe, don't tell my wife, but I got away with 6 weeks of this....seriously, I didn't want to damage anything according to my surgeon doctor's schedule. I let others do the lifting and enjoyed every second of it.
