I love ICE n it hurts to eat :(

Cold liquids were awful the first 3 weeks or so. I love ice water but found that tap water and warm teas really helped me a lot. Now I'm back to ice water and I'm a happy camper now!!!

I was sleeved 11/12/12.

I'm 8 weeks out tomorrow and still have a hard time drinking anything that's cold. I never thought I'd be drinking room temperature water!

I'm having big problems with drinking cold drinks. I'm only 2 days out but having trouble getting my protein in because of the cramping. I'm going to switch over to the Unjury chicken soup for a few days & hopefully it'll be better in a few days..

I'm 6 months out and and still prefer my drinks just cool, not cold. It's not so much that I can't handle the cold in my stomach, but I'm so cold natured now it seems to drop my core temp too much and chill me out.

Same here at one year!

I was told no ice or cold drinks for at least 3 weeks. I guess every dr has a different protocol.
