Lisa I weighed 256 when I started and I lost 16 pounds over the two week period.

I am on my pre op diet now and I was wondering the same thing. It is soooo hard!

I started my preop yesterday and it is a struggle. I'm even second guessing my surgery which is dr 12. I'm wondering how much I would loose too

Do not quit!!! You can do this. The first two days are hell and then it gets much much easier. I promise. Stick to the plan and your body goes into ketosis and you won't really feel it anymore.

I started the pre op diet Monday and im down 9 lbs

Thank you for some much for your encouraging words. I am really praying trying to stay strong. I won't quit. I think I'm just reading all the bad stories and hungry doesn't help. I wonder when it will start getting better? Also I'm very weak. A little background on me. I am 5'2 210 lbs. I guess I think I can do it on my own but clearly I haven't been able too. I have high cholesterol, sleep apnea, gerd and elevated heart rate. I need to get this done

I lost 17# It was extremely hard, plus it was over Thanksgiving but after the three days it gets easier I promise , keep it up it's worth it :)
