It could possibly be water retention. Have you had anything with a lot of sodium? Broths, canned veggies, etc.?

Also do you weigh in the morning after going to the bathroom? a little tmi... but that's the best time to weigh after bowels/bladder has been emptied. If you do it at night, you could still have stuff inside you which makes the scale go up! 1.5 pounds is not something too major especially if you're exercising. If the scale keeps going up and up, then you should talk to a doctor/dietician

Thanks! The bm's are not every day, so I've been adding fiber gummies to try to regulate a bit. Who knows! I'll wait it out & see what happens.

It happens. My biggest gain (6 pounds) was after I was on a very physical vacation. I was working out and eating right and expected a huge loss. Instead, I had a gain. It came off within the week. I think it had something to do with Water weight.

Normally, my weight will go up and down by a couple pounds from day to day. As long as the trend is downward overall, I don't worry. I don't let it throw me off my gain, and I keep on track with diet and exercise.

Oh my, you are ok! It will come right off, don't stress it, it's just a fluctuation/ rearrangement of fluids. It won't be the first time this happens!
