Congratulations are definitely in order! So much excitement in the air for December surgeries! My date is 12/3 and all of the excitement around my upcoming surgery is a natural high! Again, congrats!

Hi all December sleeves!!! I just got approved yesterday and my surgery is December 20. I got the official letter from my insurance company today. If I didn't take that date I would have to wait until mid to late January. I am looking at it like my Christmans present to myself!!! My pre-op visit is next Friday. My Dr. says I will be in the hospital for 2 nights. I feel bad leaving my family, but they will manage. I will just have to have everything ready for the kids for Christmas!! Santa still must bring gifts!!!! Anyone else from South Jersey? What protein drinks have you tried? Glad to have found this website. It is very informative and encouraging.

YAY!!! Congrats gettinfit!! I am nowhere near Jersey, sorry...but take this time to sample the stuff. I have only tried a few brands...one big tub from Wal-Mart ( strawberry...not too bad) a vanilla one from Albertsons, and then in my pre-op package I got a sampl pack of chocolate and orange cream from CHIKE...OMG..those were SOOOO good. I added skim milk and 1/2 tsp Peanut Butter to the chocolate...HEAVEN...the orange I just did skim milk...SO tasty.

I have my date but I'm not sure how long it took for the approval I was just told its a go and don't gain more than ten pounds from now till the surgery date which is December 19.
