Bread Etc

I'm only 3 weeks our but have a question. Are bread, pasta and rice permanently off the menu or can be eaten moderation. Just kind of feel like I'm missing some facts

I am five months out and can hardly tolerate bread and pasta maybe a bite and I have to chew till its almost dissolved.

I asked the same question to some friends who had WLS a couple of years ago. Both told me that rice is very difficult. They do eat bread, pasta and even pizza in real moderation. However it all depends on what your body can handle. I wouldn't expect to be eating much of those things if any at all for the first year.
