Bowl Movements

I am three weeks out and noticing I only having a bowl movement (extreme runs) once a week. Has this happened to anyone else? What should our bowl movements be weekly? Should I add a supplement? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

You are probably not taking in any fiber whatsoever, that makes BM's difficult. Are you taking in any solid foods? Liquids in...liquids out. As you start eating solid foods it should improve although many get constipated. Miralax works very well once that happens.

Liquid in / liquid out...the more real food you eat, the better it becomes. I think it will take a while to figure out what our 'new normal' will be. I add Benefiber every day to my protein shakes & Miralax every third day, it works for me at 6 1/2 weeks out.

hello,

... on my surgery paperwork it states that I will go upto 3-4 days without having a bowl movement since were not eating as much as we should. but not to worry, just wait until u can eat solids and you'll be heading to the toilet every 4 hours hahaa.. also, go to walmart or target and purchses WOMENS LAXATIVES!! they are pink pills, the cheapest kind $1.59+ and they work great!!! take two only and see the magic work!

best wishes from California!
