    I had my surgery on 12/26 at overlook hospital in Summit. Doing good so far except for the fact that I am very week. Hopefully my strength will come back soon.

    I started with Dr Abkin at the JFK for life center in Edison but due to an insurance issue, I just changed to Dr Prokurat at Centra State. I'm scheduled for June 19th & I cannot wait!!

    Hi All !!

    I'm Spicey. I was sleeved 6-12 in Livingston, Nj Dr. Paragi. I just found this website not too many support groups near New Brunswick anyone know of any???

    I go to a group meeting in the st Barnabas Ambulatory Care Center, I also am seeing Dr. Paragi (pre-op) Idk how close that is to you but if your interested they meet once a month. Next group is August 10th at 6pm

    Hi Jersey! Just got approved, Aetna denied at first but due to severe sleep apnea and using CPAP I'm in!! Started this process in March, surgery should be last week in Aug or early Sept. Dr Bagloo @ Valley. :)

    Has anyone who already at the VSG experienced Post Op problems ?I had the surgery in NYC one year ago and I have been very ill........severe and intractable Pain and Numbness in my feet and legs and hands.....swelling of veins in legs and feet and hands.......
