  1. Count me in! This will be my first challenge.
  2. Dr Karl Strom and his group. They operate out of Holmdel or Manahawkin! Office staff the best!
  3. Sunday is better. Preferably before 12. Freehold is great.
  4. My absolute favorite was having a couple of tablespoons of the insides of stuffed shells ????
  5. Try increasing your calories for a day or two. I did it after being stalked for 2 1/2 weeks. My Dr did tell me to expect to have periods of wt loss followed by no weight loss and after you break the stall you start to lose again. Keep the faith!
  6. We were told Dannon Light and Fit Greek Yogurt. Stick to lemon, lime and vanilla.
  7. Sort of like a snake being pulled out. ????. Definitely a weird feeling!
  8. Didn't care for my fitness pal but love the app lose it!
  9. My MD said no joe for 2 months.......hoping I can last that long ????
  10. I had surgery on Thursday. Discharged from the hospital on Saturday. Pain is tolerable. Trying to get all my fluids in. SF Popsicles have been my savior. Tolerated 2- 4oz of protein shake and 4 oz of protein jello made with unflavored Unjury. Only 16 oz of water all day and lots of Popsicles.
  11. I would go to the seminar and your first appointment with the surgeon. They should tell you what you need. Good Luck!
  12. Surgery in less than 2 weeks. Would like to meet in a couple of weeks.
  13. Insurance approval obtained. Only 25 more days until I am sleeved and join everyone on the loser's bench! So excited!
  14. DinaNJ- I am dreading the 2 day stay. I am hoping that maybe I am lucky enough to get a private room but I doubt it. Having my EGD done Friday and throwing in my colonoscopy for good measure. Might as well as have everything checked out while I am at it. Than I just have to wait for approval. How many times did you see the NUT prior to surgery? Just can't wait to have this done and move on with next phase. I am hoping to take 4 weeks off prior to returning to work. Sounds as if you are doing well. Any words of advice?
  15. I am scheduled for surgery in May at Bayshore with Dr Strom too!
  16. That would be great to meet! I live on Freehold.
  17. My tentative date is May 15th too. Pulmonary consult on Tuesday. Heads and tails the following week. I am excited but nervous. Only have to do one week pre op diet. May can't come fast enough!
  18. I have my "heads and tails" scheduled for the beginning of April. The prep is far worse than the test. A little of milk of amnesia and you won't remember a thing ????
  19. I am located by the Jersey Shore.
  20. I know the feeling excited but nervous. I scheduled mine to work around my kids schedule. Wishing it was not a 2 day hospital stay. Where are you having your surgery ?
  21. My one scheduled for May? My date is 5/15. Looking to find some May sleeve buddies.
  22. Covered jewels- sorry good to hear that you are pain free and starting your exciting journey. My surgery is not till mid May.
  23. I agree with CubsWin on CPAP. I even went as far as having a UPP so I did not have to use the machine. Guess what- that was the most painful surgery and I still had sleep apnea. Now I can't imagine sleeping without it. No more waking up with headaches. I am even planning on bringing it to the hospital with me. CubsWin- best of luck with your recovery. I am not scheduled for surgery until mid May.
