Dr Procurat did my surgery back in June at Centra State Hospital. He's amazing, caring & concerned about his patients. I love him to death for "saving" me with this procedure! And he smells wonderful all the time! Lol!!

Besides water? I know we can have Crystal Light, power aid zero, etc.... But every flipping thing is fruit flavored! Ugh I hate fruity stuff and all the fruity drinks give me heartburn! I'd kill for a huge diet Pepsi with a ton of ice and a lemon slice in it right now! I know I can't have it but I'm so thirsty for something that tastes good right now... :-(

I'm 3 1/2 weeks out and I think in in a stall too! I have lost 30lbs so far so I'm not complaining but I've been "stuck" at this 30lb mark for a few days now! I hope this passes quick! ????

Go to Nashanutrition.com they have samples of almost every protein shake & flavor available! Honestly it was the best thing I ever did. Flavors I thought I'd love were eh and others I ordered for the hey of it I loved! Well worth trying before buying a huge one!

I was sleeved on 6/19 and have lost 21lbs so far and feel great! Tonight I got a little cocky and ate (a small amt) of something I shouldn't have & ate it too fast, well after some pain and throwing my guts up I'm ok! But I won't do THAT again! Lesson learned!

Sleeve30 that's awesome! Congrats to you! I'm exactly 2 weeks post op today and down 25lbs myself. How do you feel? I feel good and just started smuched foods today!

Thanks queenie, I said lesson learned! I didn't mean to make myself sick but sometimes your head goes places your stomach shouldn't! Glad to hear you're so much stronger then me! I'm learning this new way of life and sometimes it includes mistakes.... Onward & upward tomorrow is a new day!

Isn't it crazy to see it works? I was sleeved on 6/19 and went to my Dr follow up yesterday and in down 14.6lbs since surgery! Congrats to you!!

1 week follow up with my doctor, everything looks great and I'm down 14lbs this week! Yay! So happy! On to full liquids and I even had 3 bites of yogurt for dinner!(glorious after a week of clear liquids) So happy I did this so far!

JustJaime5 I'm doing ok thanks! The first couple of days were rough with the gas pain but today marks 5 days out and I feel pretty good. I'm so over the clear liquid diet! I go back to my surgeon tomorrow and hope to move to the next phase. I'm not really hungry except some head hunger and according to my scale I'm down11.8lbs since last Wednesday! Still having a tough time getting all the water & protein in but I'm trying! No buyers remorse here, but I miss chewing!! Lol Baby steps, I know!

I was sleeved June 19th and haven't really been hungry until today! I'm on clear liquids until Wednesday, I can't stand the isopure drinks so I know my protein is low. What else can I have? Today is the first day of headaches too. I feel really weak....

I was sleeved on 6/19 and I went home the next day. Today I'm 3 days out and the gas is getting a little better. I'm surviving on broth, water, & crystal light. I may try a Popsicle today. It's tough getting liquids in, protein too and I have no appetite at all!

It's a little better today, but the gas still hurts a lot! I'm barely eating/drinking anything on this clear liquid phase cause it all hurts! I know it gets better day by day and I'm looking forward to this journey, I just have to make it thru this first week!! Baby steps....

I had my surgery Thursday 6/19 too! I'm home but I'm still dealing with nausea! I think it's from the severe gas pains I also am running a low grade fever too! Praying this gas subsides soon!

Well I'm officially sleeved!! Surgery wasn't bad but I come outta anastesia horrible! Dry heaves, lots of gas etc... It's getting better hour by hour! I'm at the "holy crap I really did it phase!" Lol

Well today's my day! I'm excited/nervous/scared but ready! Surgery is at 1:30pm! I'll check in from the losers bench tonight! Who else is up today? Here we go!
