What was your starting weight/ bmi? How did u get the weight off so fast

I'll ask him. It's not that big of a deal I could not drink if it's gonna be a problem.

I am a lite drinker, I drink vodka maybe once or twice a month and I was wondering if that would be a problem, I didn't want to ask my surgeon because I didn't want him to think I am a drunk lol.

How are you put to sleep for surgery? Pill? Shot? IV? Epi dural ?

Do u think the withdrawal would have been easier if u would have ate a little healthier before the liquid diet? Like cutting out the the sugar and eating smaller portions?

Was it hard? Did u go through withdrawal from food? How much did u loose? A lot of questions, sorry, but I haven't gotten that far yet and I'm wondering how people cope?

I called my insurance company, they told me that I had to do a 6 month diet, but wen I went to see my surgeon he didn't mention the diet, he just told me to go see 4 specialist ( I was able to have all appointments done on two days, the surgeon gave me 2 months to complete it). So I wondering if maybe they were going to waive the diet because of my bmi. Has anyone heard of having the diet waived? Or will the surgeon tell me about the diet after they submit my papers to the insurance company ?

My insurance company requires a 6 Month diet before the band, and I was wondering how much weight should I lose? If I loose too much maybe they will think I don't need the band and if don't lose any they may feel I'm not motivated enough for the band.... So Id like to How much other people have like what does the diet involve

Im starting my lap band journey, seminar tomorrow , I was wondering are u put to sleep during the procedure?

I am 23 years old, 5'8 320 lbs. I have not been banded yet but I'd like to know if when u a lot of weight and exercise do your breast still end up saggy or looking deflated

I'm 24 with a bmi of 49 and I go to the seminar on 5/2 . My insurance company requires a 6month diet with pcp, I'm hoping they will waive that for me. I'm afraid but know this is what I need
