"The easy way out"
The hardest thing that I've ever done. And the bravest! Also the most effective. People who criticize are uninformed and probably can't walk a mile in our shoes! That's it in a nutshell!

decaf coffee anyone ?
Thanks! Its tough when I wake up in the morning. That's when I really want it... After I eat breakfast I dont crave it as much. I only put milk in my coffee but would have to adjust to fat free milk. I might give it a try. Even if it takes long to drink. ..just a few sips would bring me joy!!! Lol! Funny how that's what I'm missing the most

Concerns about how much I'm supposed to eat
I've been eating nonfat plain greek yogurt and adding sugar free preserves and splenda. Just found Fage greek yogurt has 23 grams of protein in 1 cup. Can usually just get half a cup in

Thanks! I know caffeine also stimulates hunger so I'm ok with decaf.

decaf coffee anyone ?
I was sleeved on July 15th. Doing great but missing coffee! Has anyone had decaf so soon after surgery? My dr doesn't really recommend it. I follow everything my dr says to do but I am pretty desperate!

Anyone start with a 35 BMI?
I started with a weight of 207.8. That was the day I started 2 week preop liquid diet. Surgery was 7/15. This morning my weight was 183.8. Lost 24 lbs. Nice to see others around the same as me.

Surgery on July 15th
Just realized something. My bmi is 35.2 and I have type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. My surgery has been approved by insurance and I am scheduled for July 15th. On preop liquid diet and lost 5 lbs in 2 days. WHAT IF MY BMI GOES BELOW THE REQUIREMENT FOR SURGERY?
