At Ochsner hospital in New Orleans. I'm still waiting for them to call and schedule a surgery date.

Yes, California medical does cover the sleeve!

I dont think so but just saw post I would call your medical insurance. This is what I did to find out. Good luck to you.

Medicaid in PA pays for it. start by calling a few surgeons and ask their office. Also check some in Philadelphia if you are not too far from you.

Hi All.. I only have the sleep study left 2 do.. But my dr @ Tulane is leaving Jan 18th.. I was so sad & angry bout this.. I wish i can find another dr soon.. & I PRAY I DONT HAVE 2 RE DO ALL MY APPTS AGAIN

Try to get sleep study done ASAP! Then try to get paperwork submitted under expedited. You may be able to get in if you hurry. In meantime try to research another doc that takes your insurance. I had to switch docs in mid of process and it actually worked out better.
