Acid Blocker Question...

Recommended Posts

I was on a prescribed PPI, 40 mg once a day, I just ran out & don't have an appointment until the 17th. I had some at home that I bought, but it is 20 mg. should I take it twice a day since I was on the 40 mg before? Thanks!

I wonder if you could try taking one, and then take another later in the day if it needs a boost... until you can confirm with the doctor.

I notice a lot more "bubbles" later in the day, and "hunger" where I don't feel hungry in the beginning of the day. I will try two for now, and see how I feel.

You can absolutely take two. I do but it's broken up. One a half hour before Breakfast and the other a half hour before dinner.< /p>

Take as needed. I took one in morning and in evening. My new tummy was MAD about surgery for those first couple of months.

You can take 2 for a total of 40 if that is what you are suppose to have or if you want call the DRs office for refill if you don't have any refills on it

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
