Cruise Food

I'm going on a cruise next week ( 5 weeks post-op) and I'm terrified about what I will be able to eat. I will be on my soft diet progression by then but I'm still struggling with puréed. Im gonna take my protein powders with me but Any ideas?

Well there will be a gazillion choices I'm sure! If you asked them for something specific say soft cottage cheese at dinner I am sure they would ablige. Don't worry about the food selection, fish could be a good go to food just chew the heck out of it. Have a fabulous time.

I believe you can tell them about special diets. I'm sure you are not the first WLS person they have had on board. I'm guessing you won't be the only one on the ship!

Let them know what you are able to eat and I'm sure they will be accomodating.

Dont worry, I have been on several cruises and there are soooo many things you can have. Have fun!

Ok thanks y'all. It's my first cruise. I'm not sure what to expect.
