Eating?

How do u know when to eat? I get a bubbly burping feeling when I eat but if I havnt eatin for the day I get the same feeling.. I'm 2 weeks out and really just trying to wrap my head around all this new stuff plz help

The bubbly stuff is most likely gas. Maybe you could call your surgeon's office and describe the bubbling and they can give you feedback on what you can do. That's what the office is for, to call in and ask questions when needed. Here's to a fast recovery! :)

I try to eat or drink some protein every 2-3 hours. Everyone is different & you will get a lot of different opinions.

If it is in your throat, and you feel really uncomfortable, or "slimy" you tummy is telling you you ate a bit too much, or the wrong thing too soon.

Other than that, I burp still...they are not long enough to win awards, but robust and would def get an honorable mention. The burping and stomach noises is a part of why I maned my tummy - "George" was always putting in his two cents. I have learned to listen!

I had that until I used the Gas X dissolvables.. AND it's completely normal... the dr. also prescribed me Nexium for the first month and that helps too, with the healing
