Drinking Water

I am 5 days post op and I am having a hard time with drinking water. Everytime I sip I get a hard ball feeling in my chest. I know this will past just wondering about others experience who are only a few days out.

Are you taking to big of a sip? When I do, I can sure feel it.

Take smaller sips! I know it's a "pain", excuse the pun but, you have to. It will get better day by day!!!

I get that same feeling when I take too big a sip of water at one time. Like the others said, try taking even smaller sips and see if that helps. It will get better!

Try drinking water at a different temperature. some people do better with cooler water and some do better with room temperature water.
