What is the endoscopy for? My surgeon didn't order one up for me....only labs, chest xray and EKG

You will be fine. I had mine yesterday and it was very quick, painless and cant remember a thing.

I'm sure you will get one. They need to check out the insides of your stomach to make sure everything is healthy. Dont want to be doing surgery like this on an unhealthy belly.

SO did any of you who had endoscopies need someone to drive you home???

Yup, you need someone to drive you home.
