Do you not have a nutritionist or a diet plan provided for you??? most of us are on clear liquids and protein shakes (60-100gm) for a couple weeks while we heal. Then it is slowly progressed to full liquids, puddings, cream soups. You need the minimum protein throughout until your diet is advanced and you can get it in " real food". You don't want to stretch or stress your sleeve too early. please check with your NUT and surgeon!

My surgeons outline was clear liquids days 1-4, full liquids days 4-21, soft foods days 21-56 and regular foods after that as tolerated. Didn't u get a book or anything saying when to move on to different stages? All surgeons are different. Maybe call ur surgeons office and ask when u can move on?

I was allowed pureed food in the hospital (thought I couldn't eat it) I started eating pureed foods by the 3rd day when I felt better, but my doctor handled things a little differently than a lot of the recommendations I have seen on this site so maybe you should inquire with your surgeon or the staff.
