Not much different from 2007 to 2012...avoided camera mostly...but this was graduation
  3. Just feeling so happy with self an sleeve. Remember thinking it was odd that people talked about their sleeve and not their stomach as tho it was a new entity and not a see less part of them any longer. LOL!! I get it now!! It is a brand new thing! Brand new relationship to food! Brand new life!! What a marvelous gift we have given ourselves:-D

  4. 61lbs,! Lovin life again!!

  5. Fifty first pound!!!! Yea!!

  6. Only one pound last week so guess I have hit my first real plateau in 3 Mo's!! Still feels great to be sliding down and NOT up!!! I'll take it!!! I am off MOBIC and feel better than I have in ten years... Swam a mile yesterday and every day am grateful I did this!!!

  7. Made it!! 40.2 lbs !!! Halfway to goal!!! Slow but sure ... Perfect average of 10 lbs / month but didn't get here fast and happy the curve keeps going DOWN!!!

  8. Struggling towards that 40th pound... That's like one large bag of kitty litter never to haul around again!!!

    How Many Carbs

When all there is are carbs fats and proteins and the protein is half of total ... The other two make up the other half no? Keeping fats to a minimum means the rest will be carbs especially if you need fiber!! The trick is to get good carbs like fruit and veggies not sugar:-) so yes.... 40-60 is fine!!!
  13. R u using gas-x? It helped me:-)
  14. Try again! Am 3lbs from 1/2way mark with no major stalls... Off my MOBIC and feeling better than I have in several years...am so grateful and so excited about future !!!

  15. I'm there now at 2 months... But am ok with that if it stays steady... The more you have to lose the more dramatic at first but after you are about half way to goal it slows down. Pros to this are it gives the skin a chance to adjust ... Not so much saggy baggy:-)
  16. Wearing pants I haven't bothered with for two years....yea!!!

I Need Help And Im Very Sad

I don't think an average of ten pounds a month is bad..... In fact it's probably healthier!!! Hang in there!
  19. Ok ... Down 31 pounds total at 7 weeks. Not dramatic but very consistent and have lost 1/3 of goal. Hard not to be impatient but at least I know those are thirty pounds I will never see again:-) Am swimming 100 laps most days and getting all water and protein in. meals still about 4- 6 oz max . Clothes loose but not too many folks noticing yet... Guess I hid it all too well!!! That's ok it will show more soon !!! Happy day under 200! At last!

    Headaches

I was told it was fine to take non- coated pills smaller than a dime... But just take your lortab!!! Also be sure you are getting your fluids. Good luck!
  21. I had this problem too post-op and in fact continue to if I do not stay on top of it. Do talk with your surgeon and do not let yourself get impacted.... It is too uncomfortable and can be dangerous! People mistakenly think since they r on liquids they shouldn't have bms but you will still make stool .. It is the waste from all your intake. Protein shakes can be very constipating for some and the lack of fiber slows down all digestion in the beginning. My doc suggested Senna tablets till I am eating more. It helps!!!
  22. You look fantastic!!! Keep it up girl!!! Congratulations!
  23. Down 28.2 lbs!! Yahoo!! All goes well.... Have been to 1 mo (actually 5 week) post op check. Doc says I can cut back one protein drink a day since I am eating!! Don't quite know what to do with all those extra calories

  24. Good for you!!! Eventually those bands have to come out or be changed.... Now you are done!!!!
