The First Few Days

Hey everyone,

I was sleeved on 8/1 and released from the hospital 8/2. That night I came home I went for a walk. The next morning I went for a walk but was so tired from not sleeping the night before so I took a nap. I eventually went out to target to walk a bit because it's so humid out. What are some other things you did post op. I'm afraid of resting too much

Highest it has been since surgery is 160 the surgeon said as long as it doesn't go over 200 not to take anymore insulin, if u go low there isn't a way you can drink or eat enough to bring it back up.

Do hiccups hurt? I am not sleeved yet and just curious if it hurts to hiccup post-op.

Hiccups are not nice. Laughing is rough, but coughing is the worst for me so far. Im 6 days post op.
