  • My incisions were dermabonded and stitched from the inside with the exception of where the drain was. I just kept band aids on them until they completely healed =) Hope that helps!

I had my staples for the incisions on my stomach at the 6 sites that they put the troachars (sp?) in. They removed them one week out. It was a little bit of pain but it was a welcome relief to them pulling on your skin. hope this helps

I had VSG and YES! they stapled my little 5 holes after they glued them...

To be honest it feels like a pinch.. I took mine out on my own... They bothered me after about 6 days... I took out the top on that had 2 staples...

think of a regular stapler that is exactly what they are!

I am day 3 post op and get to go home today. And was told on my 5 incisions that I have staples and they will come out today and steristrips put on for a week do two weeks. So glad to read most people saying that don't hurt too bad being removed, that's what I was most nervous about! Thanks everyone :)
