This is what I was allowed....

Skim or 1% milk

Carnation instant breakfast

Light yogurt (no fruit or nut pieces)

Pudding

Custard

Low fat cream soups

Cream of wheat

Farina

Grits

Protein shakes

SF Popsicles

Hang in there. This phase will be over before you know it.

I am on liquids right now (1 week post-op, too)!

I'm having a variety consisting of 2 ounces of:

carnation instant breakfast mixed with silk

whey protein shakes

water (flavored and unflavored)

chicken, beef, and veggie broth

juice (50/50 with water)

decaf unsweet tea/coffee

sugar-free ice pops

To give the broth flavor, I like to cook it on the stove with carrots, celery, onion, and spices. Then I put it through the strainer to get rid of the veggies pieces. It adds a lot of flavor.

I wish I had more options too, though.
