I'm Still Hungry... And Miserable

Sleeved July 17th and I'm still hungry.. I think of food very often. What's wrong with me? Is there any medication or dietary supplement anyone can reccomend? I am screwing up so badly. Help!

I started to feel hungry about a week after surgery. It's hard at this point to distinguish hunger from thirst though, so I drink as much water as I can and that has helped. But I'm still surprised

I was sleeved on the 19th and I too am having a hard time dealing with the food and always being hungry. When I eat it seems I get sooooo gassy and cannot quit burping even though I take small small drinks. I hope this gets better

I didn't know what a PPI was either until I googled it. Interesting though, I was told my acid reflux would improve or go away after the gastric sleeve. I will be having this procedure - but not until September. Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) are a group of medications that decreases the amount of acid in the stomach and intestines

Often hunger is in our heads or is actually thirst. I told myself several times " No this is real hunger and I was wrong" The battle is more in our minds then the numbers on the scale. You have to stay strong and fight the urge to eat and I mean fight hard. Write out your eating plan for the day, post it on the fridge. Mark off items as you eat and if it isn't on the plan it doesn't go in your mouth. Drink more fluids and stick to the plan. I will get better

I was sleeved on the 20th and am having similar stuff. I feel like I could eat a meal like before. I had heard that one egg would fill me up, but it doesn't feel like it does. I also burp ALOT after I eat. I am scared I will let my head win, and over eat...

I'm 5 weeks post op sleeve n I'm hungry all the time. Still week n only have lost12 pound since surgery still on soft food. Eating yougart eggs n soups lots of water n 80 gram protine shake with strawberries. I take my Prilosec n vitamins but really no weight loss. So disappointed. Please advise
