Sleeve With Ibs

Is there anyone post op that was diagnosed with Irritable bowel syndrome prior to surgery ? If so did it help with the symptoms especially stomache pain or is the abdominal pain still present after the surgery?

    I have had IBS for over 20 years. Had my sleeve done on June 25, 2012 and only had one minor IBS episode since.
