Cool me too did u have Dr rice

My dads wife had RNY at Beaumont. She had a very hard time with her recovery. But I do have to say she looks a lot better now & is a lot healthier. Granted this is a different procedure.

Unless policies have changed, Beaumont uses surgeons from Sierra Medical Center to do these surgeries.

My surgery was done by an army doctor and he did a fabulous job.

I did have dr rice. I'm mad that he is deployed now because I really don't care for dr Shriver. He doesn't let you get a word in edgewise and always makes you feel like you are doing something you aren't. I always feel rushed when I have my appointments and he just makes me feel like I'm going to fail. I'm 53lbs down and had surgery April 2.

How long did the process take for you ladies on the military base? I will be getting mine done at Madigan Army Medical Center at Ft Lewis~ theyare saying the wait is about 4 months~\\

Best wishes ladies

Anybody care to throw in Würzberg, Hanau, or Wertheim? Oh yeah, if your in El Paso and need automotive work, my dad's shop is Jerry's Automotive on Dyer st. That's my shameless plug. :D

Otr I do need automotive work. My husband needs a new muffler. How much would he charge? Lol Firestone wants to rape me and that doesn't sound all too appealing. Lol

That's cool I just talked to another spouse who has also been struggling with her weight about the procedure~ Not sure if I will tell the world yet~

When the time is right, you will know who you want to tell. Some people think I took the easy way out. They really have no idea.

This is a process just like anything else~ There are ups, downs, restrictions, guidlines, the whole works! It takes dicipline and determination to be successful at ANYTHING especially WEIGHT LOSS~
