Any ideas on crushing medicine? I take lipitor , metformin and trazpdone. they all taste horrible mixed with Jello.

I take one of mine on a bit of flavored apple sauce (buddy fruits brand is good) just swallow it down in small spoonfuls

I mixed some crushed up vitamins up with sugar free pudding. Don't know how you are out, post-op, though.

*edit. -don't know how far post op you are. Lol

I do my atigal in SF pudding. My prilosec I just open and swallow the little beads with water - there is no flavor to them. I think this is the part that I dislike the most about the surgery.

Are you still crushing pills? I don't crush mine anymore. I'm not really sure if that's the right thing to do or not, but I haven't had any problems from swallowing them without crushing them.

there are certain pills that you are not supposed to crush/cut. it loses some of of is potency

be careful - the" medicine police" are always out there checking on people that are breaking the rules

I never did have a problem with swallowing my pills, but when i was in hospital they did crush into my applesause - wan't too bad

Afer some time passes, many people don't need their diabetes meds with the help of the sleeve. losing weight (i'm one of those lucky ones)

Maybe you won't need to take metforman, or other medication for certain problems (or a reduction ). i don't have to take my B/P medicine either
