  • It's normal to be nervous. I don't think you'd be human if you weren't at least a little nervous. Best of luck to you and we'll be waiting to hear how you're doing. My surgery is Wednesday. Right

I was the same way. Everyone's Pains I notice are slightly different. I am day 3 post op and am not having any complications. Just dealing w pain and swelling. I had some really painful swelling and tightness in my chest but was given meds and it subsided within minutes. So everything is going to be alright. Nervousness and excited come w the deal lol

Be optimistic, happy and go into the surgery with a big smile on your face. It's okay to be nervous, but for my family I acted calm, cool & collected and hummed all the way into the surgery. It did me well. Sometimes the world is indeed a stage and we are merely players....assuring my family I would be fine and being positive and being brave made me positive and brave. Attitude is 1/2 the battle.

Best of luck to you.

Nervous too.....impatient for tomorrow. I'm ready for the next step. Never had major surgery so the anesthesia will be new for me.
