  1. I was sleeved on July 9th and I am down 104 lbs. Things are going well although I'm at a plateau right now. Certainly doesn't help being the holidays either!!

  18. Got a compliment from a male co-worker today that I look great and this is from a guy whose gf might weigh 110 pounds dripping wet.......go figure!!!!!
  19. I know....who has some tasty recipes????
  20. Food is just fuel now but even so, everyone needs a variety of items so you will eat and get what you need. Tomorrow is 6 weeks post op and I dread trying to eat the same old stuff. Any suggestions? I've tried Emily bites stuff and similar. What are YOU eating??

  22. Try diluting it with some water. It all is too strong for me without watering it down. Good luck!
  23. I had a pain pump at the hospital and they sent me home with Lortab liquid. The first dose I took gave me dry heaves because I had so little in my stomach. Try to make sure you get some broth or jello in your system before taking the first dose.

  25. Doing well still.....I've basically tried most of the foods that I ate before since I haven't had any real issues with the different foods. I went to a different doctor today for something unrelated. I'm 3 weeks post op and down 30 lbs. I wear a size smaller clothes and my blood pressure is 120/60. He peeked at my incisions today and said they look AMAZING!!! He even asked what I had been doing because they look so good....funny the only thing is I've been using the old gold Dial antibacterial soap daily since surgery. How 'bout you?? Everyone else??
  26. If it makes you sick, try this. I have done it several times. One time I didn't have ricotta, so I made a thin layer of whipped cream cheese, pizza sauce and topped it with shredded cheese. Just as good but the whipped consistency of the cream cheese made it seem less rich.
  27. I did 10 days of Lenox shots. Just standard with my doc. It wasn't really mentioned before surgery and I wish it would have. Thankfully I had insurance so my copay was $5. Without insurance, it was $1000. Be sure to pinch the injection site....it doesn't burn as much. Good luck!!!
  28. How far out are you? I'm loving the Emily.bites recipes but am cautious about the ground beef. When did you try it??

  30. AMAZING!!! Tried it tonight and it was so good, especially compared to broth and thin soups. Definitely worth trying at least once.....
  31. I took the Bariatric Advtg ones but they were awful. I tried the Centrum liquid and it was horrendous too. I finally gave in and tried the Vita Craves gummies and they are fine. Just chew, chew, chew.....at least I'm still getting them in. The pulling will subside...it felt like my insides were gonna fall out but I can tell you I went for a 2nd walk and didn't have any pulling whatsoever. Hang in there!!!
