Well ABC (August Band Crew) members we have made it to the end of our banding month. Each and every member has been very supportive during our procedures and the post-op period, but now is when we will REALLY need to lean on each other for support more than ever. Now the real work of working the band begins and I am sure we will all run into a hurdle or two or three (you get the point) along the continued journey. So, here we go!

Please post your short term weight loss goal for October 1st. I think little goals are where we should start for now so we don't get too overwhelmed.

Okay kiddies, my special friend is here, I'm sick and all I want to do is eat!!! I'm trying my best to at least make it healthy. (I'm sitting here chomping on celery and peanut better as we speak!! LOL!!) I don't know why but when I'm sick...I just want to eat and eat and eat!! WILLPOWER WOMAN!!!!

I had a good weekend. Still not sure about a fill. It seems as long as I do dense chewable food, I fill up pretty quick.

I took a hike yesterday and felt so embarrassed by being out of shape. That will change!

At one point, someone posted a list of all the August band members. Is it possible to take a poll on how everyone is doing? I'd like to know who has had fills, who hasn't, what's the average weight loss, etc.. Sometimes I feel that I'm not losing quickly enough, and it would be reassuring to know that I was "average", if not "normal"!

Has anybody had an problems with their gall bladder since surgery that didn't have problems with it prior to the surgery?
