Congradulations! I'm sure everything will be fine. Take care and pamper yourself when you get home. Most important, follow your doctor's instructions as you have to relate to his program. Come to the board for support and questions. Let us know how you are doing.

Hey Brat! I hope everything goes smoothly for you - I'm still waiting on my date... I'm in Sugar Land, where are you? What surgeon did you choose since you're self pay and not restricted by your plan?

Take it easy - by tomorrow you'll be BANDED!

Congrats!

Good luck tomorrow, let us know how you are doing as soon as you feel up to it.

Kudos to you! I am celebrating my one week bandiversary, and this is my first official post. Today is the first day I feel somewhat normal-- and knock on wood-- NO GAS TODAY!! Still a bit slow, but I'm progressing every minute. I'll learn how to fix my signature line, but I was banded by Dr. Spiegel on Aug 25, 2006, at his SurgiCenter in Houston.

Hey ya TexasBr@t, I just wanted to check in and see how things went today. As soon as you feel up to it, let us know how you are feeling.

Karen, welcome to LBT and congrats on getting your band. I am glad you are feeling better. It took me a little over a week to get feeling better too.

Welcome to LBT! I'm a Texas gal, north of Dallas (too close to Oklahoma!)

I hope you are recovering nicely, and will post here often...ask any questions you want!

Cindy

Yay! Good for you Texas Br@t, welcome to LBT, and welcome to bandland!

I'm also in Texas - Dallas/Ft. Worth area - there are lots of Texans here on LBT.

Best wishes on your journey!

Hello from another Texan. I had BCBS and had to self-pay also. GEEEZZZZZZ, you think they would want you to do something that makes you healthier. I know...that discussion could take a whole nuther message board to explore! lol

Keep in touch.

Terry :)

Congrats!! And welcome to bandland!!! I could not get approved by BCBS of TX either, I opted for self pay in Mexico...and don't regret a single thing about it!!! It will be the best thing you ever have done for just you!!!

I hope your recovery continues to be an easy one, if you ever have questions, ask here, there are so many knowledgable people to help you, I don't know what I would have done without them!!!

Continued good luck to you!!

Kat
