Doing What I Am Suppose To

Hey let me out of the hospital early because I did everything I was suppose to. I was up an walking 7 hours after surgery. If I wasn't sleeping I was walking and if I wasn't walking I was sleeping. I have been out of the hospital for three days now, my surgery was four days ago. I do feel like I am getting better. Pain has gone down a little bit. Also I am able to eat and drink a lot better. By that I mean I don't feel like it is getting stuck every two seconds. I eat when I am suppose to and I drink a lot of water. I am still on the liquids diet though. It's not as bad as it sounds. Lots of fluids though. I had to start the protein yesturday though because my hair is already starting to fall out. No big deal. Just wanted to give you all an update.

Thanks. I haven't weighed myself since I got home because I want to be surprised when I go to the doctor and he weighs me.

Congrats on your progress! Sounds like you're doing everything just the way you should. It's always good to hear someone is tolerating the first week after surgery so well. Keep us posted, and let us know your results after your weigh in at the doc's!
