Seafood Restaurant Test

I'm 5 days post op and decided to get out of the house and visit my family on the Island..we went to my favorite restaurant and it was so hard watching everyone eat calamari, shrimp, fish ect and I sat there eating ice chips :( My family felt bad but I was ok... I kept thinking that in a few months I too will be a able to eat seafood again :)

Shrimp was my first "real" food! I love it so much. I eat fish, crab and shrimp all the time! It will get better and you can have it again. Just in much smaller quantities.

What I love about going out now is how many meals I can make out of one plate of food! hahah! On Monday I got teriyaki chicken and chicken w/green beans. That lasted me 9 meals. hahahah!! So awesome.

I cant wai tto eat fish!! I will be 1 month on March 21st..then I hop e I can go to soft foods..Im still on pureed foods. I have lost 24 pounds soo far. I am feeling like i have more energy, but having bathroom issues.

Is the bathroom problem you can't go or you are going to much? I just talked to the nurse about myself! I'm only going every two or three days and I use to go everyday! She said it's ok if I do not go everyday as long as I don't feel stuffed or my tummy is hard and if I need to take Mirolax !

Good to know..I see my Nut on tue. I go about every 3 days.

How are you doing on your journey.

Amazing will power on your part! Good job!
