Magic Bullet Is The Bomb!

Recommended Posts

I was sleeved on Monday, 6/25 and on clears till Friday, then to full liquids now. Since then, I've had a couple berry smoothies with added Protein Powder, yogurt, and Soup. I tell ya, that Bullet is freaking awesome for this. I've craved saltiness being that Jello and Popsicles are all sweet. I had hubby hit up panera for potato Soup yesterday. I put the container in the bullet and it came out smooth as baby food and gosh did it taste good! I separated it into 3 1/2 cup servings. Ate one, and put the others in the fridge. Today we picked up some regular old cambells chicken and stars soup at hand containers. I heated one, turned out to be about a cup, put it in the bullet, and it was dinner.

I guess my point is that its a great tool for this stage. Much better than the blender.

I was sleeved on 6/26. I am still on clears until Thurs appt. Maybe I will call tomorrow- I was feeling like I was going to throw up in the hospital, so they want me to take it easy, but I haven't had that since I came home. I'm ready for some cream of chicken or something.

I have a Ninja- it is awesome! I can't wait to make more!!!

I'm having issues getting stuff down- a lot of burning in my throat :(

I'm still pre op (but only for the next 9 days) and used my magic bullet for the first time today. I have just been using my shaker with the blender ball to mix my Protein Shakes and decided to try the bullet our. OMG it was amazing skim milk with a few ice cubes, a scoop of vanilla Protein Powder and a small banana. It was WONDERFUL. My husband even thought it was pretty delish....

I have one too (I can't remember what mine's name brand is) and I love that little booger. It is so easy and the cup fits in the dishwasher top rack. You can even drink directly out of my cup too. WONDERFUL!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
