All The New "old" Faces! Nsv's All'round, Barkeep!

I just want to take a minute and say how abso-freakin'-lutely AWESOME it is to see the updated pics that are starting to get posted, and profile pics that are changing with the 9-6 month crowd (kinda what I lump myself in at the moment) - We are changing so much!

I want us all to be very prowd of ourselves, and feel really good! yay! Yay for US!

For those coming our way, you will see this too! You will have this NSV too!

Hugs to all in a really feel-good moment I had to share!

Pookeyism.

I don't have any old pictures of myself, i am still looking though.

I never wanted pictures taken of me being heavy.

My DH took a couple of pictures of me the day before WLS was too ashamed to post -_-

In other words i will never see an actual picture of myself to compare - before/after :(

I know i've lost alot of weight, but i can't "see" it from 6+ months ago/to now

Didn't feel that great about myself before - feel much better, healthier, happier now

i know that once again that the sleeve is only a tool to make me feel even better, i still have to deal with other weight issues, self esteem too, nothing is a quick fix, i do know that

some people look so good that there dr. wants to show before/after pictures in an advertisement. hmmm Pookey?

feel much happy about myself

don't look too bad either

good luck to us all

Kathy - in an advertisement? Did I miss that? Who? Thats pretty kewl, but I think anyone of us could do that and be a very worthy representation.

It's going to be a beautiful pic!

Is your pain any better? Did you determine what it was?

Hopefully you are feeling better :)

I love seeing new pictures, too! It's astounding how much everyone changes in so little time! I still don't 'see' it in my pictures, but it must be there because it's there for all my sleeve sisters and brothers!! :)

Well I had surgery on Feb 27 but my Pic was taken for my work id Aug 2011.... some one asked me who was that on my id .... I said the old me....lol .... and my friend said come get in the picture shadow of yourself. Yes I've lost 55 lbs and happy for it.... I've been in a stall for about 3 weeks getting back to basics protein, protein, protein few carbs may be this will give me a jump start. 45 more lbs to goal but I feel so good now. This is the best thing I could have done for myself.

We are all looking much better, but more important we are all feeling so much better! YAY for the sleeve!

love your new avatar pic!

You guys are all too skinny now. I can't believe that my friends are calling me too skinny and small. Me skinny, I laugh and say whatever.
