I have been walking on the treadmill since the day I got home from the hospital. I was careful not to push it, went for longer time instead of higher intensity. Now (8 days out) I'm bumping up intensity a bit every day. Walking is good for you after this surgery. You should be walking very day I think

you definetley should be walking, my first week after surgery i was walking about 3 miles a day....not all at once but broke it down to about 4 walks a day. try app called map my walk it helps tells you how much you've walked. good luck

I walked as soon as I was home as well. Either outside or on the treadmill. Just about 15 minutes at a time, a couple of times a day.

I have been walking everyday but I want to go to the gym I usually walk for 40-60 min on an incline...I could go and just walk no incline, no crazy speed...I knew walking was good I just wasn't sure how much :) thanks everyone!
